It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Mike Dilger into school to share his enthusiasm for the natural world (you might recognise him from the One Show). Year 4 just beat year 5 by spotting 14 species of bird in the school grounds to year 5's 13.
Congratulations to our incredible KS2 team who attended the Google offices in London this week to take part in the finals of PA Consulting's annual Raspberry Pi programming competition. They were delighted to be awarded the Innovation award for their category and we are so incredibly proud of them all.
Ali Monk, our family worker will be running our monthly coffee morning - this Wednesday 6th March.
Drop in for a chat or just to meet some other parents and carers from the school community.
As part of our celebrations for World Book day, everyone is invited to come in dressed as a poem on Thursday 7th March. If you haven't had a chance to find your poem outfit for Thursday yet, don't worry! We've put together a selection of quick and easy costume ideas for you. As ever, we would love to see homemade costumes or a simple prop – please do not feel you need to buy anything new.
CANCELLED - As the weather forecast is not favourable, we have regretfully had to cancel this event.
